Call for Musicians

Are you a talented musician looking for a platform to showcase your talents and connect with our community? Look no further!

The Wyoming Sheep & Wool Festival will host outdoor concert sets at Hot Springs County Fairgrounds on Saturday, July 13, 2024, and we want YOU to be a part of it!

There will be four slots available for live musical artists/groups throughout the morning and afternoon in conjunction with the festival’s public open-air vendor fair on Saturday, July 13.

Each selected artist/group will receive a $250 payment on the day of the concert.

All interested musical artists are encouraged to apply. Performers need to be able to play a 30-minute set.

How to Apply:

Complete the application form below with your details and music samples, and submit your entry for a chance to perform at the Wyoming Sheep & Wool Festival.

Submission Deadline: July 5th, 2024

Details:

• The Wyoming Sheep & Wool Festival is a free, family friendly event so music selection should reflect that (no overly political messaging or obscene language). The festival committee has a preference for local and Wyoming musicians.

• Musicians must bring their own sound system and equipment (we’ll have outdoor outlets for electronic equipment).

• Artists will be recognized and identified on the festival website and on social media.

• Artists may sell merchandise during the engagement, provided it does not interfere with the presentation. Artists will retain 100% of the money from the sales of their own merchandise. The festival will provide free booth space at the vendor fair for the artists; artists must bring their own tables, chairs, and any other desired booth equipment and supplies (the Festival will only supply the space).

• Artists may also offer an option to be tipped for their performances. The artist may display signage not to exceed 28” x 40” on site.
